KPCI-PIO32IOA and KPCI-PDISO8A User’s Manual
Block diagram
shows a block diagram of the KPCI board. Note that both input and output channels
have transient protection and are optically isolated, while an FPGA IC performs all logic and
interfacing functions for the board. Card configuration data is stored in a PROM, while a serial
RAM performs temporary storage.
