You can use your SH001 in an overseas area with support

for Global Passport CDMA without making any special

application.

Setting the Area to Use

When the standby screen is displayed, press

Some functions are restricted in overseas mode.

Although the available area information (PRL:

Preferred Roaming List information) is already set

at the time of purchase, it may be updated several

times a year. Update it to the latest data before your

departure.

When you make an overseas call from Japan to a cell

phone compatible with Global Passport CDMA, you

can use the normal procedure.

Make sure you subscribe to EZweb and set the initial

settings while you are in Japan.
