Putting into operation
1. Insert the SIM card in the remote control
2. Assemble transformer
NOTE:
Remember to aim the transmitter at the
indoor unit of your heat pump.
The remote control is equipped with battery backup
(charged when the transformer is connected).
Then do the following:
Password
Create a password on first start-up.

Send a text message from your phone. Write
AAAA1
and send to the remote control.
•
NOTE: SMS must be the same as the one
programmed. Distinguish between uppercase
and lowercase letters.
• You will receive an SMS back confirming that the
programming is successful. (
AAAA1 Succeed
).
You can program up to 12 mobile phones that you
want to use to control your heat pump. Passwords
are the following:
AAAA1 - AAAA9 and AAAAa - AAAAc
Ex. Send AAAA2 from mobile number 2. AAAA3
from mobile number 3 and so on.

The remote control has the following modes

Changing operating modes
via SMS
Ex. when selecting the operating mode Heat 20°
(Hitachi)
Write
hv20
in a text message. Remember that
it is important that the SMS is written as it is
programmed. Distinguish between uppercase and
lowercase letters.
Send the SMS to the mobile number of your remote
control. The heat pump will change the operating
mode according to the SMS.
For a confirmation that the heat pump has changed
operating mode, type
hv20?
(Finish with ?)
It is possible to write
?
after any operating mode.
You will then recieve the operation mode + current
room temperature via a text message.
Troubleshooting
- No contact with the GSM network
•
Make sure the pin-code lock is removed. Insert
the SIM card into a regular mobile phone, check
that your mobile phone connects to the GSM
network without entering the PIN code. If not,
see instructions for removing the PIN on your
mobile phone.
•
Check that there is GSM reception where the
remote control is to be used. External antenna is
available as an accessory.
•
Check that the SIM card is inserted in its place
and the door is locked.
- The remote control does not change the operating
mode of the heat pump
•
Make sure the IR emitter is facing the heat pump.
•
Put the remote control closer to the heat pump.
•
Make sure you have typed the correct SMS.
Alarm function
The remote control sends out alarms when:
•
The room temperature is below the set alarm
value
•
The unit has stopped
•
The unit is without power
NOTE:
It is important to distinguish between
lowercase and UPPERCASE letters.
