Introduction 

 

The Infrared heater produces radiant heat like the sun, warming people and objects rather 
than the air in between. It is mounted on an adjustable bracket that allows the heat to be 
directed exactly where it is required. It is attractive, lightweight design means that it is 
effective yet unobtrusive. The Infrared heater is designed for indoor and outdoor use so is 
therefore weatherproof. 
 

Please read the following instructions carefully before use. The safety of this heater is 
guaranteed only by its correct usage in accordance with these instructions, therefore it 
is recommended that they are retained for future reference.  

 
 

 

 
Safety Instructions 
 

  Only connect the appliance to a properly installed socket-outlet with 

earthing-contact. Possibly a slow-blow C-fuse is necessary if you 
experience problems by switching on to overloaded fuses. 

  Only connect the appliance to a.c. mains as specified on the rating plate. 

  Never touch the live parts!

  Never operate the appliance with wet hands!

  To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not immerse the unit, 

cord or plug in water or other liquid.

  If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or a 

qualified service engineer to avoid any risks to safety. 

  Do not use the appliance in flammable atmospheres (E.G: near 

combustible gases or spray cans) or store/use any flammable materials 
near the appliance!

access to heating elements and must be in place when the heater 
is in use.
