Networking & Configurations

The ESML6-FL2 offers 6, RJ45 10/100Base-TX ports each of which can be connected
to terminal devices directly or to another industrial Ethernet switch or hub. The

ESML6-FL2 also has 2 pairs of uplink 100Base-FX fiber ports which can be used to
form a redundant optical ring which has a recovery time of less than 100ms. A
typical redundant ring set up is shown in Figure 5.1 below.
