The rain cover is there to protect passengers and cargo from the elements The plastic rain cover can be
rolled up to improve ventilation in warm weather, or rolled down to make the bike trailer a bit warmer
when it is cold outside When the rain cover is rolled up, attach it with the velcro fastening
CAUTION!
Protect children from insects etc by always having the mosquito net rolled down when travelling For safety
reasons, the mosquito net or the transparent plastic rain cover should be rolled down when travelling
WARNING!
It can get very hot in the bike trailer if the rain cover is closed in warm weather conditions or if the trailer is
parked Remember to roll up the rain cover
FITTING THE WHEELS
Lift up the rear of the chassis sufficiently to be able to insert the wheel axle in the hole on the side of the
chassis Insert the axle by pressing on the wheel hub at the same time as holding in the spring button on
the underside of the chassis Press the wheel in until a clicking sound is heard - see figure below Check
that the axle is completely inserted and is properly in place by gripping the middle of the hub and pulling
vigorously outwards, away from the bike trailer Remove the wheels by pressing on the spring button
underneath the axle at the same time as pulling the wheel away from the bike trailer
CAUTION!
Check the tyre’s air pressure and tread regularly to ensure the bike trailer is safe and easy to tow
The tyres’ air pressure must always be 20–28 bar, or the value stated on the side of the tyres
FITTING THE REFLECTORS
Screw on the red reflectors at the back of the bike trailer, and the white spoke reflectors on both wheels
Tighten the screws securely By law, the bike trailer must be equipped with a rear reflector Avoid cycling
with the trailer when it is dark, but if you do, use lighting in accordance with the laws in force
