What to do next
If you are dissatisfied with the alignment, you can scan the buccal bite to
create a new alignment.
9.25.3 Add to group
About this task
If one or more models aligned during scanning, a group is created. To add to
group follow the instructions below
Steps
1. On the Layers tab, right-click the unaligned model’s layer and select Add
to Group.
The available groups are shown.
2. Click the desired group.
Results
The software attempts to align the new model to the group. If it is
unsuccessful, for example, if the upper arch aligned during the scanning
of the buccal bite and lower arch did not, you will need to manually align the
lower model (see section "Manual alignment" on page 49).

About this task
If automatic alignment is unsuccessful, a manual alignment must be done.
Steps
1. Click Reset Alignment to manually align a group.
A split screen appears with two models. Each model is displayed on
either half of the screen.
