The HDS 42 automatically detects which system (fully automatic or manual) is receiving a TV signal and forwards the
signal to the receiver/TV set, thus eliminating the need for reconnecting the coax cable

Transport and Storage

Use the original packaging for transport; store the device in a dry place

Make sure there is no water condensation build-up
Intended Use
The HDS 42 is suitable exclusively for mobile satellite reception. Any use other than that described in these application
notes is not permitted and will lead to loss of warranty and guarantee as well as to exclusion of liability. This also applies
if the device is modified or retrofitted.
Installation and safety instructions

The HDS 42 may only be installed in dry rooms
■
Do not install on or against easily combustible material
■
The equipment must be provided with an equipotential bonding wire (Cu, at least 4 mm
2
)
■
The safety regulations set out in the current EN 60728-11 and EN 60065 standards must be complied
with
■
Fasteners: screws, max. Ø 4 mm
■
Connectors: RF connectors 75 Ω (F series) according to EN 61169-24
