Remove the blower box screws: three (3) on the front, three (3) on the top

towards the rear, and two (2) on the sides where the linear motion system

runs (see picture below).

To clean or maintain the linear motion system that pulls the platinumware holder

in and out of the furnace, one must open the base of the instrument.

IMPORTANT

: Always disconnect the instrument from the power outlet when

working with panels removed. 240 Volts inside! Risk of electrocution!

Disconnect the instrument from the wall outlet.

Flip the furnace backwards (see instructions at page 82).

Remove the screws from the base top panel (see picture below).
