Use

Charging the battery

WARNING!

Connect cable clamps!
Make sure that polarity is not reversed.
Do not bring the battery clamps into con-
tact with each other.
Make sure the room in which the battery is
charged is well ventilated.
Do not place metal objects on top of the
battery.



Connect the battery to the electrical system via the bat-

tery isolating switch.

Start-up assistance

WARNING!

If start-up assistance is given incorrectly,
there is a risk of fatal electric shocks or
burning.
Do not allow the cable clamps to touch each
other.
Do not connect the jump-start leads to the
connecting bridge between the two
batteries.

Voltage spikes can occur when the jump-start cable is dis-
connected.
Risk of damaging electronic components!
Switch on heavy consumers before disconnecting the jump-
start cable. (e.g. windscreen heating, seat heating).

Electronic damage!
The use of start-up assistance equipment such as a power
booster or power pack is not permitted.
