CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning the iron, remove the plug from the socket, pour any remaining
water out of the reservoir, set the steam knob to position "O", stand the iron on
its end and let it cool down sufficiently.
Wipe off the sole piate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive (liquid) cleaner.
lf any fibres are clinging to the sole plate, use a damp cloth with vinegar to
wipe the sole plate clean.
Never use strong acid or alkali on the sole plate to avoid damaging it.
lf scale has blocked the steam holes, you can remove the scale with a
toothpick, but take care not to damage the surface of the sole plate.
