1.4. Attention
Throughout this manual, you will find 3 types of ISO 20417 signs. For warning, we have ISO
7010-W001. Prohibition is indicated by ISO 7010-P001 and obligation by ISO 7010-M001.
With these signs we inform about important safety measures for the correct use of the stretcher
and to avoid possible accidents.
Warnings alert the reader to situations which, if not avoided, could lead to death or serious injury.
On the other hand, the prohibitions indicate actions that must not be carried out under any
circumstances and the obligations, those measures and/or actions that must be carried out to
use the product properly and maintain safe functionality.
1.6. Summary of safety precautions
Carefully read and strictly follow the warnings and cautions listed on these pages. Service only
by qualified personnel.
WARNINGS:
- Improper usage of the stretcher can cause injury to the patient or operator . Operate the stretcher only as described in this
manual.
- Do not modify the stretcher or any components of the stretcher . Modifying the product can cause unpredictable operation
resulting in injury to the patient or operator . Modifying the product also voids its warranty
- This rail must work with a compatible stretcher.
- The fastening system to the emergency vehicle compatible with our rail must be correctly installed for correct fastening of the
stretcher. Failure to do so could result in injury to the patient, operator or vehicle.
- Ask for a correct installation of the fixing rail to the vehicle floor. The position of this rail will determine the correct operation of the
stretcher. After installation, practice changing the entry and exit positions of the stretcher from the rail until you have fully learned
the operation of the product. Improper use may cause injury.
