9. CLEANING & RECYCLING   

9.1 CLEANING   

In  order  to lengthen the  life of your wheelchair,  it  is suggested  that you clean  the 

wheelchair periodically (if not daily), especially after it is used in the rain or snow.   

We  suggest  that  you  don't  use  your  wheelchair  in  the  rain  or  snow.    If  you  are 

traveling and get caught in the rain, we suggest you try to find shelter while waiting it 

out.    If you can't find shelter, proceed to your destination. 

 

9.1.1 Frame 

Wipe with a damp cloth. 

 

9.1.2 Upholstery 

When cleaning the upholstery, use warm water and a mild soap. 

Upholstery cleaner/foam can also be used, but avoid other cleaning solvents. 

 

9.2 POST-CONSUMER RECYCLING 

A  post-consumer  recycling  plan  should  follow  the  Environmental  Protection 

Administration's regulations.    The items listed below are for reference only as local
