10.3 The controls
10.3.1 Side steering control
Side steering control Side steering control, swing-away
This wheelchair has a side steering control unit, which is either mounted on
the left or right armrest. The joystick module can be mounted on a fixed
bracket or on a swing-away mechanism (optional). This system enables you to
sit close to access a table.
10.3.2 Tray table control (Optional)

The desktop control enables the user to have a table with a center mounted
build-in joystick module. The table can be flipped up sideways for transferring
in and out of the wheelchair. The joystick module can be flipped up to use the
table as desktop. When flipped up, the driving mode of the wheelchair is
automatically blocked. This ensures a safe use of the wheelchair in any
position.
