7. Disassemble and Assemble
7.1 Disassemble
●
Under the front side of the seat you will find a knob. Turn the knob completely off
(counter-clockwise). Remove the seat by pulling it straight up until the seat post
separates from the frame post. Next, on top of the casing are two smaller knobs.
Again, turn them counter-clockwise until removed completely. Slowly lift the casing
off of the scooter and disconnect all electrical connectors between the casing and
frame. This disconnects the rear taillights, brake lights, and turn signals.
●
Disconnect the two battery wiring connectors and remove the battery fastening
straps. Remove batteries by their handles. Now, unplug the connectors between
the front control panel and the central relay box (controller). These two connectors
are located between the front and rear frame.
●
Push down the lever in front of the frame post. (
See Figure 7.2
)
●
While holding the lever down, pull up on the frame post to release the front from
the rear frame. (
See Figure 7.3
)
●
Your scooter should look like figure 7.4.
WARNING
For KS-333:
Have someone hold the steering column upright while separating the front and rear
frame to avoid damaging your scooter. (
See Figure 7.2
)
