Use the Kärcher water filter to protect
the HP pump and accessories (special
accessories, order no. 4.730-059). This
filter removes dirt from incoming water.

Appliance ventilation: Switch on the ap-
pliance without connection the HP hose
and run it until the water discharging
from the HP outlet is free of bubbles.
Switch off appliance and reconnect HP
hose.
Note
: The appliance deaerates faster if
you first fill the suction hose with water.

Unwind the high pressure hose fully
from the hose drum.

Push the appropriate spray lance on to
the handgun and fasten it by turning it
through 90°.

Open tap.

Plug in the mains plug.

Set main switch to “I/ON”.

Press safety catch on the handgun to
release it and pull lever.

Risk of injury
The handgun is subjected to a recoil force
when the water jet is discharged. Make
sure that you have a firm footing and are
also holding the handgun and spray lance
firmly.

Release the lever on the hand-spray
gun.

Turn the spray pipe to the desired posi-

Detergent can only be added when the ap-
pliance is being operated in low pressure
mode.
All washing brushes supplied by Kärcher
are designed for use with detergents.

Use spray lance with pressure regula-
tion (Vario Power).

Turn the spray lance to "Mix" position -
low pressure.

Fill DT tank with DT tab and water or DT
concentrate and water (follow dosage
recommendations on the labels of the
detergent).
Note:
There is an info-card enclosed with
your appliance; this lists all the detergents
approved by Kärcher. From this info-card
separate the product cards of the deter-
gents that you will fill in your detergent tank
In the detergent tanks, you will find pockets
where you can insert, for notifying purpos-
es, the product card of the detergent you
have filled in.

Turning the regulator to the left: Deter-
gent is added from the left DT tank.

Turning regulator to the right: Detergent
is added from the right DT tank.
1 Spray the detergent sparingly on the dry
surface and allow it to react, but not to
dry.
2 Spray off loosened dirt with the high-
pressure ray.
