Care, Cleaning and Storage
• Remove the fabric brush from the
garment steamer before cleaning
and storing; moisture can build up
between these parts.
• Do not use harsh abrasive cleaning
agents or solvents.
• Do not place the garment steamer
in water or any other liquid.
• Do not add any perfume, vinegar
or other chemicals to the water
tank.
• Always empty the water tank after
each use. Never store with water
still in the tank.
• Periodically rinse the water tank out
with fresh water.
• To clean the outer surfaces of the
garment steamer, wipe with a
damp cloth and allow to dry before
storing.
• Always ensure the steam outlet
holes are clean, free from scaling
and not blocked.
• Check the hardness of your tap
water before using it in this garment
steamer. Particularly hard water
can cause a build-up of impurities,
which will affect the performance
of this steamer.
• Store the garment steamer on its
heel in a cupboard or bench.
• Do not drop, throw or try to bend
the garment steamer.
• Do not attempt to disassemble the
garment steamer.
• Avoid operating the garment
steamer in humid or moist places.
• Do not place the garment steamer
near a heat source or direct
sunlight.
CAUTION: To prevent
damage to the garment
steamer do not use
alkaline cleaning agents
when cleaning, use a soft
cloth and mild detergent.
CAUTION: Do not use
chemicals, steel wool,
metal scouring pads
or abrasive cleaners to
clean the outside of the
garment streamer or the
steam hole plate.
