Warranty information
General
This warranty book is a valuable document that will help the owner
to gain maximum use of the Kalmar product to which the warranty
applies. The product is supplied by Cargotec, which is the legal
entity responsible under this warranty.
Before using the product, please observe the following: Read care‐
fully through the instruction manual which accompanies the product.
If an instruction manual is not available or if a copy in a different lan-
guage should be needed, please contact the local Kalmar product
representative.
Conditions for the applicability of this warranty
The following conditions must be met in order for this warranty to
apply:

A delivery inspection must be carried out by Kalmar product
line or by the authorized Kalmar product representative, where
this is required, according to the delivery conditions.
•
The product must be operated and maintained strictly in
accordance with the instruction manual and maintenance man‐
ual.
•
Only spare parts which meet Kalmar specification have been
used in the maintenance and repair of the product.
•
Replaced parts must be kept available for inspection until the
warranty claim is finally settled.
•
All defects under this warranty must be claimed in writing to an
authorized dealer or service agent of Cargotec, within the
period of time specified below.
It is the responsibility of the owner to ensure that the above condi‐
tions have been fulfilled.
Scope
Subject to the conditions in this warranty book, Cargotec warrants
that the product specified in the acceptance certificate, when deliv‐
ered to the original purchaser and for the remainder of the warranty
period, is free from defects in material and workmanship as well as
conforms with Cargotec’s specifications relating to the product.
This warranty applies to the original purchaser and any subsequent
owner who acquires the product within six months of the date of the
delivery of the product to the original purchaser, but cannot be fur‐
ther transferred.
This warranty does not comprise tire equipment and other consum‐
able parts, for example; fluids, all hoses, filters, belts, bulbs, fuses,
bolts, nuts, straps, accessories, fastenings, batteries, and so on,
unless it can be established, that such part was defective already at
the time of delivery of the product, to the original purchaser.
