1. Install the Riser Tubes and Faucet
Connect the Supplies
NOTE:
Supply connections may vary from site to site. For this
installation guide, copper supply tubing is used.
For copper supply connections:
Solder the female connections to
the water supply tubes, then apply thread sealant to the female
copper connections.
For all other supply connections:
Connect the supplies. Use the
adapter (supplied) to convert the IPS thread to the NPT thread, if
necessary.
Install the Riser Tubes
For floor riser tubes:
Ensure the escutcheon, large washer,
locknut, small washer, and adapter are assembled on each floor
riser tube (as shown). Thread the riser tubes down onto the
female copper connections until the riser tubes bottom out.
For deck riser tubes:
Insert the riser tube with escutcheon
through the deck. From underneath the deck, secure the riser
tubes with a washer and locknut.
For all installations:
Apply plumbers putty to the underside of each escutcheon, then
press each escutcheon against the finished floor/deck. Wipe away
any excess putty.
Insert a supply washer into each yoke of the bath faucet.
