5.1 Example of a measurement with ADA 2
When performing a measurement, proceed in the sequence described in this example:
1. Log on and enter the customer data (see Section 5.1.1)
2. Define the measurement configuration (see Section 5.1.2)
3. Define the logger(s) and signals (see Section 5.1.3)
4. Assign the logger(s) (see Section 5.1.4)
5. Start, perform and conclude the measurement (see Section 5.1.5)
6. Download the measurement data from the logger to the notebook, and forward them to
KAESER for analysis (see Section 5.1.6).
5.1.1 Log on and enter the customer data
In order to set the logger's address, a small screwdriver was used to set the two rotary controls at
the logger's rear to the desired value.
The ADA 2 user interface can be started from any browser by entering the 12-digit IP address
169.254.100.1xx. The two last "xx" digits must be identical with the address of the logger to which
the measurement data are saved (master logger).
The address "00" cannot be used.
Precondition The address "02" is set at the master logger (example).
