
9.2.2 Elimination of Multiple Static PIM Faults
In situations where RTF analysis reveals multiple static PIM faults in the system under test, it is strongly recommended
that the user repairs only one fault at a time, starting with the largest. When the largest fault has been repaired, a new
RTF sweep should be performed and the above process repeated until all faults have been eliminated. DO NOT attempt
to repair multiple static PIM faults based on the results of a single RTF sweep.
9.2.3 PIM Testing Flowchart
The diagnosis and repair of PIM faults in the RF infrastructure should be carried out in a methodical manner. A flowchart
of the recommended procedure is shown in Figure 43. Steps that involve RTF Analysis are highlighted in yellow.
