8.4.6       Overlay of PIM and Return Loss vs Distance Plots

The overlay plot displays both the PIM and Return Loss vs Distance traces on the same set of axes, as shown in Figure 

36.  This view is activated by pressing the OVL button at the top of the RTF Analysis window.

The controls and settings on this screen are identical to those of the PIM vs Distance and Return Loss vs Distance 

plots described in Sections 8.4.2 and 8.4.5 respectively.  The only new feature is the Marker Delta Indicator Δ, which is 

displayed in the top right corner of the graticule underneath the PIM and Return Loss marker values.  The Marker Delta 

is a relative measurement giving the difference between the locations of the PIM and Return Loss peak markers.  This 

difference is given as an absolute value, hence it is always positive.
