About Your Owner’s Manual

We have made the table of contents as comprehensive as possible to assist you in quickly
locating information. The detailed Index, located at the rear of the Manual, also contains
a complete listing of all subjects. It is our hope that between these two sections, you will
be able to find the information you are seeking.

Throughout the manual we have included Caution, Warning, and Tip boxes to call your
attention to certain information. We have used these boxes as specified below.

This owner’s manual reflects the current production specifications of the Krogen 58’.
However, at Kadey-Krogen we are always striving to improve our product which may
have resulted in changes in the production process. Therefore, the manual may not reflect
the exact systems and components on your yacht. Furthermore, if you are a second owner
of the vessel, previous owners may have made changes of which we are not aware.

This manual has a Systems Operation and Basic Maintenance section which is designed
to provide a general understanding of each system and recommend a minimum frequency
of maintenance and servicing. This information is intended as a guideline and is

intended to replace normal or required service by individual component manufacturers.
A prudent owner or operator will rely not only on a recommended maintenance and
servicing schedule, but consider all other variables that may have an impact on a safe and
successful voyage. These considerations should include, but not necessarily be limited to:
