4 Setting the Date and Time
4.1 Inverter with integrated clock
If you are using an inverter with an integrated clock, the Powador-miniLOG will
adopt the time from the inverter. The time and date on the inverter must be set
correctly so that the data can be recorded properly.
4.2 Inverter without internal clock
If you are using an inverter without an internal clock (units built since
May 2007), you must set the time and date on the Powador-miniLOG. You can
do this using your PC or the SD card.
4.2.1 Setting the time on the SD card manually:
1. On the SD card, there is a fi le named “time.txt”.
2. The time and date are entered into this fi le.
3. Delete the hash mark (#) and save the fi le.
Caution: You must enter the time at which the Powador-miniLOG will be put
into operation. The Powador-miniLOG loads the time from the “time. txt” fi le.
4.2.2 Setting the time using KACO-viso:
Furthermore you can generate the fi le „time.txt“ with KACO-viso.
1. Start KACO-viso
2. Select the menu item
“File >> Time SD card”
3. Set the start-up time
4. Select the SD card drive
5. Confi rm by clicking “OK”
