4 Installation
This chapter describes the installation of the product.
4.1 Installation variants
Installing the internal fitting without

• The internal fitting without bar cut-out has to be unscrewed.
Installing the internal fitting with bar cut-out [ } 4.3]
• The internal fitting with bar cut-out does not have to be unscrewed.
4.2 Installing the mechatronic cylinder compact
4.2.1 Tools required
• Flat head and Phillips screwdriver
4.2.2 Installing the cylinder into the mortise lock

ü Mechatronic cylinder compact ready
ü Mortise lock installed
ü Internal fitting without bar cut-out unscrewed from the door
1. Align the cylinder cam so that it is parallel to the cylinder bar.
2. Push the cylinder into the mortise lock from the inside.
Note: The antenna (3) must be at least 7.5 mm from the external fitting (2).
3. Tighten the forend locking stud.
4. Check the distance (X) between the inner side and adapter (knob).
Note: Distance (X) must be at least equal to the thickness of the internal fitting.
5. Remove the protection film from the cover of the knob.
