OPERATION
1. With the mounting arms loosened, use the
correct size engine bolts to attach to the engine.
(ENGINE BOLTS ARE NOT INCLUDED WITH
ENGINE STAND.)
2. Use the stop pin to lock the head plate assembly
with the head collar.
3. Make sure the engine is centered and level
on the head plate assembly, then tighten the
mounting arms to the engine first, and then
tighten the mounting arms to the head assembly.
4. Check and verify that all attaching hardware
on the engine, mounting plate assembly and
mounting are tight. After engine is secure
SLOWLY lower the hoist transferring load to the
engine stand.

1. To turn the engine on mounting plate, securely grasp the turning handle with both hands on each side of
the pivot mechanism.
2. Hold the handle securely and tightly, to turn the engine block on the pivot.
3. Have 2nd person, remove the locking pin.
4. With BOTH people, slowly and carefully turn the engine block to desired position.
(Note: Do not release the engine block, until the locking pin has been verified to be in locked position.)
5. Have 2nd person, re-insert the locking pin.
6. Verify locking pin is secure and locked.
7. Release hands from turning handle.
8. Process complete.
