S3* / S4* / S5*
S3 consists of: 2x VB 15 (4 Ohm) + 2x VL 10 +
1x DA 428
S4 consists of: 2x VB 18 (4 ohm) + 2x VL 12 +
1x DA 428
S5 consists of: 2x VB 208 + 2x VL 4 + 1 DA 428
1. Set-up PA:
•
place the two subwoofer to the left and right side in front of the audience (on solid
underground)
•
place the top units each on a distance rod on the subwoofers
•
please fix the top units in a relative height for the audience
2. Connection:
•
plug in two loudspeaker cables (Speakon cable, 2-wired) into the speaker outputs A + B of
DA 428 and connect both subwoofers VB 208 /VB 15 / VB18 (see drawing)
•
Plug in two loudspeaker cables (Speakon cable, 2-wired) into the speaker outputs C + D of
DA 428 and connect both top units VL 8 / VL 10 / VL 12 (see drawing)
or plug in two 4-
wired loudspeaker cables (Speakon cable) into the speaker outputs A + B of DA 428
connect both subs - connect the top units each with a cross cable.
Note! Please check, that all input signals are muted before switching on DA 428
Please choose the preset for S3 / S4 / S5 on DA 428 (see manual DA 428)!
