8. CONNECTING THE MICROPHONE

Connect the wire coming out from the base to the included preamplifier. Use a three-pin XLR professional
microphone cable (XLR) to connect the preamplifier to a microphone input which provides 48 V phantom
powering.

Phantom supply voltage must stay between 36 to 52 Vdc, providing at least 7mA of current. Voltage
must be positive on pins 2 and 3 of the XLR connector of the preamplifier.
