GETTING STARTED
Battery Operation
Disconnect the AC Adapter. Open the
BATTERY
compartment and insert 2
“AA” batteries (not included) making sure that the battery polarity (+/-) is
observed.*
Remove the batteries if the unit will not be used for a long period of time.
* Note:
Failure to align the polarity properly can result in personal injury
and/or property damage. When the low battery indicator
appears on
the LCD screen, be prepared to replace the batteries.
AC Operation
Before operating the JX-CD335, make sure that the voltage on the unit
corresponds to the voltage of your local area. Unravel the AC Line Cord;
insert one end into a DC jack on the unit and the other end into a standard
AC outlet.

When not in use, unplug the AC power cord from the AC power
socket.
CAUTION:
To prevent possible injury or property damage, use a 4.5-volt
DC, 600mA adapter only, and follow all safety instructions provided by the
adapter manufacturer.
