A
For setting the mail environment when [Mail] is specified as an action of the
Alarm page.
[SMTP] and [POP] can be used. Configure only the [SMTP] settings in usual
circumstances.
Configure the [POP] settings as well if [POP before SMTP] is enabled. In
addition, if FQDN is set for [SMTP Server], etc., configure also the DNS
server settings on the Basic page. (
Memo
:
What is FQDN (Fully Qualified Domain Name)?
This is a fully qualified domain name that indicates a notation method of
describing the entire host or domain name on the TCP/IP network without
abbreviating.
For example, if the host name is
A
www
B
and the domain name is
A
victor.co.jp
B
, then this will be denoted as
A
www.victor.co.jp
B
in FQDN.
B
FTP
For setting the FTP environment when [FTP] is specified as an action of the
Alarm page. This is common with the FTP environment when using [Periodic
FTP] within this page.
When [Directory] is left blank, FTP transfer will be performed to the home
directory of the FTP server. To enable FTP transfer to a directory below the
home directory, set the directory name in [Directory].
Delimit the directory using
A
/
B
.
Example: subdir1/subdir2
Destination directory of FTP transfer will be dependent on the FTP server if
A
/
B
is added at the beginning.
Setting [Periodic FTP] to
A
On
B
enables transfer of the latest images to the
FTP server at regular intervals. Specify the interval in units of seconds in
[Periodic FTP Interval]. Select a type from the three types of Periodic FTP
file names. When
A
Auto
B
is selected, file names are generated from the
year, month, day, hour, minute, second, and number.
Example: 20051114161032-001-2.jpg
When
A
with timestamp
B
is selected, file names are generated from the user-
defined-name, year, month, day, hour, minute, second, and number.
Example: Camera1_20051114161032001.jpg
When
A
Fixed
B
is selected, user-defined character string can be used as a
file name.
Note
:
●
Selecting
A
Fixed
B
will overwrite JPEG files created in the FTP server for
every FTP transfer. File transfer takes time in a narrow-band network. In
this case, complete files may not be created if files are overwritten by the
next FTP transfer before they are completed.
