3.1.9 Removing the cassette deck mechanism

(See Fig.22 and 23)

• Prior to performing the following procedures, remove the rear

cover.

• Also remove the CD chassis assembly.
• Also remove the bottom base assembly.

(1) Remove the four screws

retaining the cassette deck

mechanism from the back of the front cabinet assembly.

Caution:

You must press the eject key before you remove the cassette
deck mechanism.
