Prior to performing the following procedure, remove
the metal cover, the front panel assembly and the
main board.

Disconnect the card wire from connector CN606,
CN608, CN651 on the CD changer mechanism
board on the right side of the body.

Remove the four screws Q attaching the CD
changer mechanism assembly on the upper side of
the body.

Move the CD changer mechanism assembly in the
direction of the arrow, inside of the CD changer
mechanism cover, and pull out it toward the front
while raising it slightly.

The CD changer mechanism assembly is
detachable without removing the CDR
mechanism cover and the CDR
mechanism assembly.
