Removing the capstan motor
(See Fig. 11)

(1) Remove the two screws

from the capstan motor, and

then remove the joint bracket.

Removing the flywheel
(See Fig. 12, Fig. 13)

(1) Remove the head amplifier & mechanism control board.
(2) Remove the capstan motor assembly.
(3) After turning over the cassette mechanism, remove the two

slit washers and fixing capstan shaft L and R, and pull out
the flywheel (R) and (L) respectively from behind the
cassette mechanism.

Removing the reel pulse board and solenoid
(See Fig. 14)

(1) Remove the five pawls

retaining the reel pulse board.

(2) From the surface of the reel pulse board parts, remove the

two pawls

and

retaining the solenoid.
