Basic Disc Operations
While playing a disc, you can do the following operations.
To stop playing for a moment
During play, press CD

While pausing, the elapsed playing time flashes on
the display.
To resume playing,
press CD

again.
To go to another track
Before or during play, press

repeatedly.

: Skips to the beginning of the
next or succeeding tracks.

: Goes back to the beginning of the current or previous
tracks.
To locate a particular point in a track
During play, press and hold

: Fast-forwards the tracks.

: Fast-reverses the tracks.

Programming the Track Playing Order
—Program Play
You can arrange the order in which tracks play before you
start playing. You can program up to 60 tracks.
On the remote control ONLY:

Place a disc.
• If the current source is not the CD player, press CD.

Press PROGRAM.
The
PROG
(program) indicator starts flashing
on the display.
• If a program has been stored in memory, the program is
called up.

Press

to select
the track number, then
press PROGRAM.

Repeat step

to program other tracks you
want.

The tracks are played in the order you have
programed.
If you try to program a 61st track
“FULL” will appear on the display.
To stop playing,

To check the program contents
Press PROGRAM repeatedly in stop mode.
The program number and track number are
displayed in succession.
To modify the program
Press PROGRAM repeatedly in stop mode to select
the number which you want to change the track,
then repeat step

above.
To clear the program

in stop mode.
The
PROG
indicator disappears from the display.
• Pressing
0
OPEN to open the disc cover will also
erase the programed tracks.
