Replace the ROMs in the CD-ROM library
(For MC-8100U/8200U/8600U only)

STEP2 :
Remove both ROMs

located at the IC320 and IC 321sockets.
STEP 3 :
Insert the new ROMs (PLSS1719) into the IC320 and IC 321 sockets.

Check that the IC numbers on the ROM and the PCB match.

Install so that the notch on the ROM is on the top.

Take care not to bend the ROM pins when inserting it into the socket.
For MC-8100U (MC-8100U uses one ROM).
STEP2 :
Pull out and remove the ROM from IC4.
STEP 3 :
Insert the new ROM (PLSS1721) into the IC4.

Check that the IC numbers on the ROM and the PCB match.

Install so that the notch on the ROM is on the top.
䡵
Take care not to bend the ROM pins when inserting it into the socket.
STEP 4 :
Re-install the side panel by performing the reverse procedure to that of STEP 1.
