Video Stabilizer
By activating the Video Stabilizer you can correct vertical
vibrations in the picture when playing back unstable EP
recordings that were made on another VCR. When this function
is set to "ON", vertical vibration will be automatically corrected.
*The default setting is "OFF".

Press R 3 PICTURE . The R 3 PICTURE indicator will light.

To turn off R 3 Picture, press R 3 PICTURE again so that
the light goes off.

Normally it is recommendable to keep R 3 Picture ON
(with the indicator lit).
●
Depending on the type of tape used, picture quality
may be better with R
3 Picture set to off.
●
If you use this recorder as the player for editing, be
sure to turn off R
3 Picture before starting.
●
The setting will remain effective even though you
turn on/off the recorder.

Picture maximizes sense of resolution and sharpens image
edges to make playback picture look better focused.
