±1/3x slow-motion playback is possible with SP recordings only.

Depending on the type of tape contents, the sound may not be clear during forward slow-motion playback.

Pro-Slow cannot be activated by pressing
PAUSE
for longer than 2 seconds.

Depending on the type of tape in use, noise may appear during Pro-Slow. When this happens, try manual tracking (

pg. 26).

The operations by the remote control's

ring do not include TimeScan; noise will appear on the screen and
audio will not be output.
If you don't want to hear TimeScan audio, set "TIMESCAN AUDIO" to "OFF".
