As the color of the light (color temperature) varies according
to the light source, it is necessary to readjust the white

alance when the main light source illuminating the su

ject
changes. You can store two white

alance types in memories
A and B.

Set the ND filter according to the lighting.

Set the WHT.BAL.

Locate a place with

imilar lighting condition

ubject, place a white object near the center of
the

creen and zoom in to fill the
s
creen with white.

Pre
ss
the Auto White Balance button.

[AUTO WHITE A(B) OPERATION] is displayed while Auto
White Balance is starting up.

WHITE A(B) OK] is displayed for a

one of the following messages will appear for a

Displayed when there is not enough white color on an

ject, or when the color temperature is not suita

le. Use

ject and adjust the white
b
alance again.

ERROR:LOW LIGHT
Displayed when the light is too dim. Increase the intensity
of the lighting, and adjust the white
b
alance again.
●
ERROR:OVER LIGHT
Displayed when the light is too
b
right. Decrease the
intensity of the lighting, and adjust the white
b
alance again.

Do not use highly reflective o

jects, such as metals. Doing
so may result in improper white

alance adjustment.
