Adju s ting Automatic White Balance
As the color of the light (color temperature) varies according
to the light source, it is necessary to readjust the white
b alance when the main light source illuminating the su b ject
changes. You can store two white b alance types in memories
A and B.

S et to the Manual shooting mode.
1 .
Set the ND filter according to the lighting.
2 .
Set the WHT.BAL. s witch to A or B.
3 .
Locate a place with s imilar lighting condition s a s
the s ubject, place a white object near the center of
the s creen and zoom in to fill the s creen with white.
4 .
Pre ss the Auto White Balance button.
●
[AUTO WHITE A(B) OPERATION] is displayed while Auto
White Balance is starting up.
●
When the correct white b alance is o b tained, [AUTO
WHITE A(B) OK] is displayed for a b out 5 seconds.
Error di s play s
If the white b alance adjustment is not correctly completed,
one of the following messages will appear for a b out 5
seconds.
●
NG:OBJECT
Displayed when there is not enough white color on an
o
b ject, or when the color temperature is not suita b le. Use
another white o b ject and adjust the white b alance again.
●
ERROR:LOW LIGHT
Displayed when the light is too dim. Increase the intensity
of the lighting, and adjust the white
b alance again.
●
ERROR:OVER LIGHT
Displayed when the light is too b right. Decrease the
intensity of the lighting, and adjust the white b alance again.
Memo :
●
Do not use highly reflective o b jects, such as metals. Doing
so may result in improper white b alance adjustment.
