You cannot use the remote control for the menu operations explained in this section.
Use only buttons on the unit.
Buttons you use to operate the menu
MENU
• Press to show the menu in the main
display when the menu is not shown.
• Press to cancel the menu operation
when the menu is shown.
• Push downward (
) or upward (
)
to select the functions on the menu.
• Push the joy control rightward ( ) or
leftward ( ) to select a proper
setting after selecting the function on
the menu, or to move to another
setting mode.
• Press to finish the setting or to move
to another setting mode.

• Press to go back to the previous step
while setting clock or timers.
Highlighted
when selected
• These triangles indicate that you can select a
mode or move to another setting by pushing
the joy control rightward ( ) or leftward ( ).
• Items with no triangles indicate that you can
move to their setting screens by pressing SET.
(In this example, “LEVEL METER”)
Arrows indicate the direction (up/down) you
can move on the menu screen. (In this
example, you can only move down.)
About the menu screen
Most of the other convenient functions are available
through the menus on this unit.
Ex. This menu appears when the source is CD
(with the unit turned on, but not playing)
