Setting this unit
The REMOTE SEL. switch on the front
panel can be set at any position.
Set the REMOTE menu.
• REMOTE:
Set it to “ON”.
• REMOTE FF/REW MODE:
Use this menu item to select the action to be
executed when an FF or REW command is re-
ceived during playback (FF/REW or search).
If the search and locate function does not work
well, set it to SEARCH.
• CONTROLLER TYPE (REMOTE 2/2 menu):
Set it to “TYPE 1”.
Memo
If an error occurs to the time code of BR-
DV3000 when the tape is advanced /re-
versed by 1 frame by the non-linear edit sys-
tem, please set the STILL mode of the main
unit to "FRAME".
• Turn the power of both devices OFF and connect the DV cable.
• Do not insert incorrectly (in reverse) the DV cable end to DV port of both devices.
