a tape is playing, the unit will fast-forward ahead
30 seconds on the tape. You may press the button
up to four times in a row to move 120 seconds
(two minutes) ahead.

Pressing EZ Ject automatically rewinds and ejects
the video cassette in the unit.

Once a timer recording has finished, press the

button to automatically rewind the tape to
the start of the newly recorded program.

Selects a recording speed (SP or EP) for simple
recording. See “Regular VCR Programming” on

to delete a pre-set timed program
from memory or if you incorrectly input a VCR
Plus+ code on the VCR Plus+ screen.

Display
You can check how much time remains on a video
cassette or tape speed setting by pressing D

while a video cassette is playing. See page 29 for

Daily/Weekly
Selects how often a program will be recorded:
Once, Daily (at the same time everyday), or
Weekly (at the same time once each week).

Lets you gradually increase or decrease the

will increase. The forward speed may be
increased by up to four steps.

NEXT Function
You can automatically perf o rm some VCR f u n c t i o n s
using two-button combinations. You can automatically
s t a rt playback, go into Timer Stand-by, or turn the
power off after rewinding a tape by using the button
combinations shown below.
To automatically start playback after rewind:
REW, then P
LAY
within 2 seconds
To automatically start Timer Stand-by after rewind:
REW, then T
IMER
within 2 seconds
To automatically shut power off after rewind:
