Switch on mains switch
Press operating button
Fill water tank
Fill bean container
Turn Rotary Switch until desired language appears
Press Rotary Switch to confirm selection
Turn Rotary Switch to set time in hours
Press Rotary Switch to confirm hours
Turn Rotary Switch to set time in minutes
Press Rotary Switch to confirm minutes
Maintenance key

Place one container each under the hot water dispenser and
One Touch Cappuccino-Frother
Press maintenance key
System fills automatically
Place container under coffee dispenser
Press maintenance key
The pipes are rinsed with fresh water
The machine is now ready for use.
After being used for the first time, the machine must be left
switched on for at least 24 hours.
Press Rotary Switch until
FILTER NO
appears
Press Rotary Switch again to enter this point of the program
Turn Rotary Switch until
FILTER YES
appears on the display
Press Rotary Switch to confirm setting
Remove water tank and empty
Open cartridge holder
Fix extension piece in position on top of CLARIS plus
filter cartridge
Use gentle pressure to insert filter cartridge in water tank
Close cartridge holder (it clicks audibly into place)
Fill water tank
Position container (at least ½ litre) under One Touch
Cappuccino-Frother
Press maintenance key
Filter rinse stops automatically
The machine is ready for use
