You cannot prepare any coffee

The drip tray is not inserted
correctly or is not inserted at all.
You cannot prepare any coffee
specialities, hot water or steam.
Insert the drip tray.

FILL BEANS
The bean container is empty. You
cannot prepare any coffee
specialities, but you can prepare
hot water or steam.
Fill the bean container (refer to
Chapter 1 ‘Preparing and using for

The ENA is prompting you to clean
the machine.
Clean the machine (refer to

Once 50 litres of water have flowed
through the CLARIS filter cartridge,
its capacity is reached.
Replace the CLARIS filter cartridge
(refer to Chapter 4 ‘Maintenance –

prompt’).

NOT ENOUGH
PRE-GROUND
There is too little pre-ground coffee
in the machine. The ENA stops the
operation.
The next time you make coffee
use more pre-ground coffee (refer
to Chapter 2, ‘Prepara-
tion – Pre-ground coffee’).

TOO HOT
The system is too hot to begin a
maintenance programme.
Wait for several minutes until the
system has cooled or prepare a
coffee speciality or hot water.
