Verify that the source power cables are connected to the appropriate terminal: the
positive (+) source cable to the return terminal (labeled
RTN
) and the negative (–)
source cable to the input terminal (labeled
–48V
).

Replace the input terminal cover over the DC power cables, and tighten the screws.
14.
Verify that both input
1
and input
2
LEDs on the PSM faceplate are lit steadily green,
indicating that the inputs are receiving power.
15.
Reinstall the PSM into the chassis (see
), and tighten the captive
screw to secure it.

Repeat the procedure for all PSMs in the chassis.
17.
Verify that the DC power cables do not touch or block access to the components, and
that they do not drape where people could trip on them.
