Checking the hydraulic oil level

Checking the hydraulic oil level and
replenishing

Requirements

– Fully lower the load handler.
– Prepare the truck for maintenance and repairs,

see page 131.

Procedure

• Remove the drive compartment cover, see

page 135.

• Check the oil level in the hydraulic

reservoir (102).

The  hydraulic  reservoir  (102)  has  four
markings  (101).  The  hydraulic  oil  level  should
be  above  the  "1"  marking  when  the  load
handler is fully lowered.

• Add hydraulic oil if necessary:

For the first filling approximately 0,6 l more
hydraulic oil should be added.
• Turn the lid (100) anti-clockwise from the

hydraulic reservoir (102).

• Add hydraulic oil of the correct grade until it

lies above the "1" mark level (see
page 130).

• Turn the lid (100) clockwise on the hydraulic reservoir (102).

• Fit the drive compartment cover, see page 135.
• To restore the industrial truck to service after maintenance or repair work, see

page 142.

The hydraulic oil level is now checked.

If a leak is discovered in the hydraulic system (cylinder; unions, lines), the truck must
be decommissioned and repaired by specialist personnel.
