Connecting a lamp

• Hold transmitter at distance of 10 - 50 cm from
lamp and press buttons simultaneously until
LEDs fl ash green.
•
Lamp confi rms successful connection by fl ash-
ing several times.
•
LEDs of transmitter fl ash red for 3 seconds –
connection failed.
Repeat the procedure.

Setting a scene (light mood)
Light moods of taught lamps can be saved on the
buttons as scenes and can be recalled.
• Open Philips Hue App
• Choose lamps
• Adjust colour and brightness
• Save scene – see 2.2

Hue lamp + Hue transmitter

If the transmitter was previously part of a net-
work it needs to be reset (see step 3.1).
The transmitter has to be added to the existing
network. For that purpose open the Philips Hue App
and choose the following:
• Settings
• Lamp settings
• Start the search

Saving / recalling a scene

Save light scene
6 light scenes can be saved. One light scene is
saved on each of the buttons 1-6.
• Press scene button (1 – 6) for longer than 4
seconds.
LED of the respective button lights up green for
3 seconds.
Scene is saved for the button.
Recalling a light scene

Press scene button (1 - 6) briefl y.
Lamps recall the light scene.

If several lamps are mounted close to each
other, it may be necessary to disconnect the
other lamps from the mains voltage so that they
will not be reset.
•
Press button 1 and 2 until the LEDs fl ash green.
Lamp fl ashes: Reset is in progress.
LEDs light up green, lamp lights up. Reset suc-
cessful.
LEDs fl ash red quickly for 3 seconds. Lamp
could not be reset.
