OPERATION
Assembly
1.
Install the tube with the feed hole on the motor casing.
2.
Hold the tube with one hand and tighten the lock knob clockwise.
3.
Position the feeding worm in the tube so that it is resting on the drive shaft in the motor casing.
4.
Position the blade knife on the feeding worm, facing forwards (see illustration). If the knife is not
installed correctly, the appliance will not work properly.
5.
Place the desired mincer plate next to the knife, with the notch over the pin in the tube.
6.
Screw on the plate holder. Do not overtighten.
7.
Place the feeding tray on top of the tube. Place the unit on a steady surface.
NOTE!
The ventilation holes on the underside and sides of the motor casing must not be blocked.
Before use
Check that the rated voltage on the type plate corresponds to the mains supply voltage, and that
the power outlet is correctly earthed.
Wash up all parts that come into contact with food (all except a, b, c and d).
Make sure the power switch is in the OFF position before plugging in the power cord.
Mincing
1.
Cut the food into pieces that fit down into the tube.
2.
Plug in the power cord and turn on the appliance.
3.
Place the food on the feeding tray and feed it down into the tube.
4.
Use the feeder.
5.
Always switch off the appliance and unplug the power cord after use.
NOTE!
Check the following points if the minced meat does not emerge evenly.
The plate holder may be tightened too firmly, resulting in the knife not being correctly in contact
with the mincer plate. Adjust the plate holder.
The mincer plate may be blocked. Clean it.
The knife may be blunt. Sharpen or replace it.
