Fitting the hedge shears
1.
Hold the machine in one hand. Push the catch up to release the cover, figure 4.
2.
Pull the cover back and then lift it straight up.
3. Remove
the
shears.

Check that no grass etc. gets into the trimmer.
5.
Turn the cogwheel so that the marking in the middle points downwards or upwards, see figure 5.
Make sure that the plastic ring on the hedge shears is placed around the raised part of the
cogwheel, see figure 6.

Align the four recesses to the guide pins on the trimmer. Make sure that the cogwheel fits correctly
to the plastic ring.
7.
Fix the cover over the shears.
