Formal measuring
1.
Press the ON/OFF button for 1 second to start the appliance.
2.
Press the OK button for 0.5 seconds to activate the warming of the sensor. PH flashes for a few
seconds. It takes longer in colder surroundings.
3.
READY and BLOW flash alternately for about 29 seconds. Carry out the measurement during this
time.
4.
Blow continuously through the nozzle for about 4 seconds. An audio signal is heard when the
measurement is ready. Stop blowing when you hear the audio signal. ANLY flashes while the
analysis is carried out. The reading is shown within 8 seconds.

0.00‰ is shown if the measured blood alcohol content is less than 0.10‰ (0.05 mg alcohol
per litre of exhaled air or blood alcohol content of 0.01%).

The value will be shown digitally in the display if the measured blood alcohol content is
between 0.10‰ (0.05 mg alcohol per litre of exhaled air or blood alcohol content of 0.01%)
and 4.00‰ (2.00 mg alcohol per litre of exhaled air or blood alcohol content of 0.40%).

HI is shown in the display if the measured blood alcohol content is higher than 4.00‰ (2.00
mg alcohol per litre of exhaled air or blood alcohol content of 0.40%).
If the appliance is connected to a printer, press the print button to print out the result.
