SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read the Operating Instructions carefully before use!
The appliance is not intended for use by people (including children) with various disabilities, or by
people who have no knowledge of how the appliance is used, unless they are supervised or
receive instructions concerning its use from someone responsible for their safety.
Children must be supervised to make sure they do not play with the appliance.
Do not use the lamp near flammable substances or gases.
Make sure that the lamp is not covered over when using it.
Only use the charger supplied.
Do not point the light at anyone's eyes.
Inspect the power cord on the charger before use. If the cord is damaged it must be replaced by an
authorised service centre.

OPERATION
The lamp is switched On and Off with the power switch on the handle
General advice on charging
The battery must be fully charged before the lamp is used. The lamp must be switched off during
charging. The red indicator comes on when the charger is connected to the lamp.
Charging with 230 V charger
1.
Connect the charger to the mains supply.
2.
Connect the charger to the lamp.
3.
The charging indicator lights up during charging.
Charging with 12 V charger
1.
Connect the charger cord to the lamp.
2.
Connect the 12 V plug on the charger to the 12 V outlet in your car.
3.
The charging indicator lights up during charging.
Replace flat batteries with new recharged batteries. This must be done at an authorised service centre. If
the lamp is not used for a long period, the battery should be charged every three months to maintain its
life.
